It will have to wait

I was almost finished my project... and I was really happy with it too. I decided to make it into a pillow instead of a wall hanging (it just told me to use it that way)... and was just adding the finishing touches when our world turned upside down. We left in such a hurry that I don't even have a pic to show you how it looked.  Oh well...perhaps you may pass by my blog sometime later in the year and it will be there all finished and in its place.
I have loved looking at all your projects evolve over the last 12 months and have enjoyed your company along the way. Congrats to all the players and especially to our host for organising this fun project. I hope to meet you all again...perhaps next time!

Rd 8: Cheryll

I appliqued a Snowman TeaPot as my round 8 embellishment. I didn't want to do too much as Kate has suggested there will be more LaTeR.
But I like the way it's coming together now.

Finally got time to put round 7 onto my piece. I'm HaPPy with it so far but cannot wait until I can embellish it with some xmas pretty's !! But of course I have to wait patiently until our host Kate, gives me permission...lol
Anyway here is my 5x5, 5x6, 5x5 pieces added to the bottom.

I did actually add 2 pieces as instructed - 4x6 and 4x7 - to the bottom of my block. I joined the 2 blocks together in the blue fabric. If you look closely you can see the join in the middle of the red fabric above it.

A new player has joined us - Cheryll, who blogs here - she has done round 1 & 2, but not 3 yet, I think (at any rate, I didn't see it on her blog). It's such fun seeing the different directions everyone is taking!
