This is truly the experimental quilt, since I have chopped up an earlier piece to make it. That has greatly limited my design opportunities. I love the colors, but the thing has lacked any kind of focus. For round 8, I appliquéd a flamingo from the little bit of left over print material. I think it helps to tie some of the other pieces together. Unlike my other SAHR, this one had no preconceived ideas so I'm just winging it. This step made me like it better, though.
